Tigatu Clothing Company Freedom From Ordinary About Us TIGATU Roots TIGATU (pronounced ty:guh:two) was born during a trip home from college in the summer of 2000. From the mountains of Eastern Oregon, to those of Seattle, much of the time was passed trying to figure out what the plan was when that degree was in hand. Every graduate’s belief is they will come straight out of college and land comfortably into that “Dream Job.” For us, this was printing funny shirts as we ourselves had our wardrobes filled with them. The idea was pitched, and the creation of TIGATU spread from there. Print, or get off the POT After many years of design creation, and company blueprint discussions, the three of us set our apprehensions aside and launched TIGATU Clothing Company as a full fledged legal business in the summer of 2006. As the many large boxes of t-shirt printing equipment arrived the “We’re really doing this” excitement began to build. With the abilities to design, accompanied by the ability to put those ideas on t-shirts, we took this experience and have ran with it ever since. Over the years, the overall goals have continued to grow, along with our abilities, and have extended well past just doing funny t-shirts. We wanted to reach a much larger market, one that we live in ourselves. TIGATU today TIGATU today, as it was at its conception, remains to be three buddies entrenched in that “Dream Job.” Some of those close to us have said our lives should be a sitcom, as we live a different lifestyle than many of those around us. Although others believe we should “Grow Up”, our happiness is derived from exposing TIGATU to everyone, not by pushing strollers and pulling weeds. It is one we are very thankful for, and understand how lucky we are every day to do what we do. The experiences we have had over the years, whether good or bad, have continued to allow us to focus on what is important, and that is YOU. In our work, we are customers at times as well, and it is drawing from those experiences that allows us to focus our attention where it should always be. And although the scope of the company has grown, along with us, over the years, the one thing that is cemented in us is providing quality t-shirts, hats and hoodies to our customers that don’t just meet, but exceed expectations.
